The Russian punk group Pussy Riot recently amnestied by Putin, after a stint in prison almost two years in prison for their irreverent performance inside the Cathedral of Christ the Redeemer in Moscow, has made the news.
The group met in Sochi, for a new protest action on the street, profiting the expectation for the celebration in the city of the Olympic Winter Games, with the chorus of "Putin will teach us how to love the nation"

A dozen Kuban Cossacks, used by local police authorities as a militia to patrol the streets, snatched the singers their clothes and garish balaclava, and hit and whipping them with their nogaykas.

The incident lasted a few minutes in which Cossacks also smashed a band member guitar and one of its members was injured, with blood on his face.
Police later questioned about the incident, but no one was arrested.
